Outside it’s chilly, windy and wet but it is too warm for Winter so lots of plants and tree’s are starting to grow again. But the problem is that the weather can change for the worse and we can still expect snow and severe frost untill mid May and some years even later. Then all that new life that is growing now will be dead but most plants can grow again later in the year.
My garden looks dull, apart from the evergreens there is nothing to see. I had lots of rosebottles and red berries but they are all eaten by the birds now.

HAVE A GREAT WEEK AND TAKE CARE.
I like your skimmia bush.

It is such an easy plant and it is beautifull almost the whole year, the new buds come in early Summer but they bloom in early Spring for a long time and the bee’s just love it.

All the green that grows in winter.

We can have some evergreens over here who are able to survive frost, many evergreens can’t. And in Winter I think they are a real asset in the garden.

Goodness! In Maine we are having a cold snap, zero and below. Fahrenheit. Nothing growing here except ice on lakes and ponds. 😉
