We are expecting really hot tropical weather next week, I am not really happy with it , at the moment the garden is lush and green but hot weather can ruin a lot.

Have a great weekend !

TODAYS BLOOMS

I think June is the most beautiful month in my garden with the most flowers. Almost every day I see some new blooms. It is so nice now to stroll in my garden. Alas the weeds are doing fine too.

Some pictures for you to see.

YELLOW CANNA FLOWER AND BUDS
PINK MALVE
VERBENA BONARIENSIS
SOLIDAGO OR GOLDEN ROD
ECHINOPS RITRO OR GLOBE THISTLE

The thistle, the verbena and the malve attract a lot of bees, butterflies and other insects. So dubble fun !

Have a great day and thanks for passing by !

EASY PLANT

Verbena bonariensis or argentinian vervain is such an easy garden plant, it is tall and airy and goes well with other flowers, it is loved by bees and butterflies, it blooms a very long time and despite it’s height it stays upright. Loves a sunny spot and selfseeds but you can easily remove them where they are not wanted.

VERBENA BONARIENSIS (argentinian vervain)

What is not to like ?

Have great week all !!

TODAY IN MY GARDEN

THERE IS STILL BEAUTY IN THE GARDEN

It is definitely Autumn and the garden is not really pretty but here and there are blooms and pretty leafs. Autumn is not my favorite season as we can’t sit in the garden or eat on the terrace, it will take about 7 months for us to do that again.
