As you can see June is a rose month. My whole garden is smelling of roses now !

Every day more roses open in my garden and at the moment my whole garden smells of roses.
I DON’T KNOW THE NAME OF THIS ROSE BUT I LOVE THE COLOUR.

THE SMELL OF ROSES
I haven’t been blogging for a while but I just needed a break. There is so much to do at the moment that I just don’t know what to do first. I think you all know what I mean.
But the roses are starting to bloom so I had to take some pictures for you to see, pitty you can’t smell them !!

AND LOOK AT ALL THESE BUDS !!!!(climbing rose GUIRLANDE D’AMOUR, half dubble white)
I have more roses in bud so by next week I’m sure they’ll be open, we are having hot and very dry weather, last night we had a thunderstorm with a bit of very welcome rain.

TODAY IN MY GARDEN
We have a few nice days at the moment so I thought it was ideal to take a few pictures. It is definitely Autumn but there is still some beauty left.
YELLOW POMPON DAHLIA, YELLOW ALWAYS BRINGS A BIT OF SUN IN THE GARDEN EVEN ON A RAINY DAY
VERBENA BONARIENSIS IS GOING ON AND ON AND SELFSEEDS ALL OVER THE GARDEN
BEGONIA AND BUZZY LIZZY STILL LOOK GOOD AT MY FRONT DOOR
THERE ARE STILL A FEW GERANIUM FLOWERS LEFT
PROBABLY THE LAST FLOWER OF THE PILGRIM ROSE
FUCHSIA
THIS RUSSIAN VINE IS RACING THROUGH MY GARDEN
ROSA GUIRLANDE D’AMOUR STILL BUDDING AND FLOWERING AND SMELLING OF ROSES
AND THE GARDEN POND URGENTLY NEEDS A GOOD CLEAN AS THE PLANTS HAVE TAKEN OVER AND THE FISH NEED A BIT OF SPACE TO SWIM
