THE SMELL OF ROSES

I haven’t been blogging for a while but I just needed a break. There is so much to do at the moment that I just don’t know what to do first. I think you all know what I mean.

But the roses are starting to bloom so I had to take some pictures for you to see, pitty you can’t smell them !!

AND LOOK AT ALL THESE BUDS !!!!(climbing rose GUIRLANDE D’AMOUR, half dubble white)

I have more roses in bud so by next week I’m sure they’ll be open, we are having hot and very dry weather, last night we had a thunderstorm with a bit of very welcome rain.

Have a great week and thanks for visiting !

  1. I have been blogging but not reading, so here I am to admire your roses. I’m so jealous! Our soil is sandy and rough and not very conducive to growing pretty things like you. So post when you can — you know I’m always here for you!

    1. Thanks Claudia ! We have sandy soil too but with a bit of dried cow dung and some selfmade compost you can do a lot. But there are loads of plants I love to have in my garden but you can’ have them all of course.
