SANSEVIERA IN BLOOM
EASTER WEEKEND
We are at the end of the Easter weekend, I love Easter but it was an early Easter this year so the weather was not good enough to do some work in the garden. I did some sowing in the greenhouse and the strawberry plants I replanted in the greenhouse a few weeks ago (I kept them in a pot last year) are now growing nicely and they are getting flowers !!
Remember my begonia Muddy Waters who started to bloom in December ?
THIS WAS TAKEN ON DECEMBER 23 RD LAST YEAR
THIS WAS TAKEN TODAY, IT HASN’T STOPPED FLOWERING FOR OVER 3 MONTHS NOW AND IT IS STILL MAKING NEW FLOWERSTALKS. AND LOOK AT THESE SWEET LITTLE FLOWERS !
I hope I can soon showing pictures from my garden, this Winter is taking too much time !!!

SANSEVIERA
A PRESENT
I received a present from an old lady the other day and I am pleased with it. I am always happy when I get a plant or flowers.
I was given a beautiful phaelenopsis, I know some people find it nothing special but I love orchids, what’s not to love about orchids ??? When you just look at their beauty you feel happier instantly !

I have the same orchid in snowwhite with a purple heart, exactly the same colour as the new orchids colour.

HE IS DOING IT AGAIN !
He is doing it again my Begonia Muddy Waters, in the middle of the dark season, when the days are short and grey Mister Muddy is doing it again; blooming. The buds are tiny but so very pretty, I love it ! He has almost black leafs and it is a leaf begonia, you don’t buy him for his abundant blooms. It is one of the easiest potplants I know and in Winter I love to see his tiny flowers.

WORDLESS WEDNESDAY
FOR THE NOT SO GREEN FINGERED
Many people say they don’t have green fingers but there are plants that are so easy to look after that a 2 year old can  do it !!
One of the easiest plants on earth must be the sanseviera, otherwise known as snake plant, snake skin plant or mother-in-laws tongue. You probably all know some sanseviera species, but there are so many different ones, and some are prettier or smaller or bigger than the other one, that depends on taste of course. And they are aircleaners too, so it is healthy to have them in your house !!
At the moment the sanseviera is in fashion again, hurray ! As I have a collection of cati and succulents in my house I have a few species of sanseviera and one of the strongest is for sure the SANSEVIERA FERNWOOD PUNK (see picture below)
