AND ANOTHER VIEW IN THE MIRROR, THE FENCE IS STILL NEW, WHERE THE FENCE IS WE USED TO HAVE A HUGE CONIFER HEDGE BUT OUR NEW NEIGHBOURS WANTED A FENCE AS ON THEIR SIDE THE CONIFERS WERE BROWN, I AM NOT REALLY HAPPY WITH THE FENCE BUT I HOPE THAT IN A FEW YEARS TIME IT WILL BE COVERED IN PLANTS

DSC05015

A FEW SCCULENTS IN A POT, ON THE RIGHT IS AN AUCUBA JAPONICA, ON THE GOUND YOU CAN SEE GERANIUM MACRORHIZUM AND A FEW SMALL DWARF RHODODENDRONS, ON THE LEFT IS A BIG POT WITH A HOSTA IN THAT IS ABOUT TO FLOWER, THERE IS A SMALL LEAFED IVY GOWING AGAINST THE FENCE, HOPING IT WILL COVER THE FENCE REALLY SOON

CLEMATIS HAGLEY HYBRID WILL ALSO COVER A BIT OF THE FENCE

I hope you’ll all have a great weekend !! And thanks for visiting !

THE ROSE GARDEN

We have an arboretum nearby and I visited their rose garden today, alas I was a few weeks too late cos of the hot and dry weather we have been having the last 2 months but I enjoyed it never the less. I really wish I could sent you the smell of the roses , the buzz of the bees and the sound of the birds ! This arboretum has tree’s, shrubs and plants from all over the world and they get busloads of tourists but today it was as if it was my private garden.
