This is my dark leafed begonia, ( called Muddy Waters) it is a plant for the livingroom in our climate and it blooms in Winter for several months, the flowers are tiny but very pretty. Look at the flowerbuds, they have dark pink freckles, so cute. The leafs are almost black and have a beautiful shape. It is such an easy plant. In Summer it can stay outside in a shady place.

I really like those speckled flowers, and I love the dark leaves. Have never seen that kind of begonia at our local nurseries. I would definitely add it to my annual collection.

They are cute, aren’t they. This plant caught my eye a long time ago and ever since I have been giving shoots away to everyone who wanted them. They grow well and all you have to do is break off a few stems, put them in a pot in a bit of soil and voilà, you have a new plant.
