It’s lilac time again ! Do you remember I showed you my lilac tree in bud 2 weeks ago ?
IT LOOKED LIKE THIS (syringa vulgaris Beauty of Moscow)
EXACTLY 2 WEEKS LATER IT LOOKS LIKE THIS
THIS IS A CLOSE UP, SOFT LILAC BUDS AND PURE WHITE FLOWERS
PRETTY AS A PICTURE ( I think)
As all the buds are blooming at the same time I put lots of them in vases for myself and the rest I gave to family and friends. Each year I remove all the flowers and each year I get lots of flowers back.

I love lilacs but despair of ever growing them in my shady yard.

You can always give it a try, they are really easy to grow ! Unless your garden is covered by large tree’s.
