A FEW RECENT GARDEN PICTURES
My garden is suffering at the moment, it has been hot and dry for quite a while now, not a drop of rain and my garden is not used to this sort of weather, I water my garden once every 2 or 3 days for as long as we are alloud to do so, some provinces in my country already have heavy water restrictions. I managed to take a few pictures of plants who still look good. A lot of plants and bushes have scorched leafs and look tatty.

But I am not complaining, my cacti and succulents are thriving at the moment.

ONE OF MY FAVORITE GARDEN TREES
On one of our vacations in Spain I came across a beautiful tree with pink fluffy flowers, it was love at first sight. So I asked someone the name of this tree and I was told it was a silk tree. I looked it up on the net and found the latin name of the tree : Albizia Julibrissin or silk tree or pink silk tree, named after an Italian nobleman called Filippo degli Albizzi. And I found out it was winterhardy enough for where I live.
I found a gardencenter not far from where I live that had them for sale and for about 10 years or so one is living in my garden and it gives me joy all summer long.

I have a new disk on my opuntia indica Burbank !!! I bought this opuntia last year when we were on our holiday in France.
