As I am still going through my old pictures, I found some I totally forgot. They are not all of good quality, I had a small camera and I didn’t know then what I know now about photography. Most of the time it is rainy and you can see the garden comming to life again but so far nothing worth to take pictures off.
Summer was odd weatherwise. We had cool, we had hot and very hot. Bone dry but torrential rain once in a while but my garden is looking tatty. A few flowers are still standing but a lot has been scorched by the sun. Today is the last day of Summer weather, as of tomorrow it will gradually cool down and for the next 2 weeks we’ll get lots of rain.

The groundwater here is historically low, rainy weather is not fun but we need it, every single drop. Our local flora is dying cos they can’t stand the drought.
As we had a long and cold Winter and a late Spring I was late in planting my Summer bulbs so my bulb blooms are late as well. Well that’s nature for you, it never does what you expect it would do. But the fun of seeing a first bloom is always exciting for me. And yellow flowers always make me feel the sun is shining even on a gray day.
