TODAYS BLOOMS

I think June is the most beautiful month in my garden with the most flowers. Almost every day I see some new blooms. It is so nice now to stroll in my garden. Alas the weeds are doing fine too.

Some pictures for you to see.

YELLOW CANNA FLOWER AND BUDS
PINK MALVE
VERBENA BONARIENSIS
SOLIDAGO OR GOLDEN ROD
ECHINOPS RITRO OR GLOBE THISTLE

The thistle, the verbena and the malve attract a lot of bees, butterflies and other insects. So dubble fun !

Have a great day and thanks for passing by !

WHITE OLEANDER

My white oleander is finally in bloom. It reminds me of our vacations in the South of Europe. Although it is a mediterrean shrub it needs a lot of water in Summer. They can be pruned into small tree’s.

WHITE OLEANDER

It is so hot here at the moment but rain is on the way.

Have a great day !

WHAT IS FLOWERING IN MY GARDEN

We had quite a bit of rain lately so my garden looks a bit tatty but everything is growing fast. I cannot believe we are going towards the end of June already.

I had a bit of a stroll in the garden today and I took some pictures for you to see.

DAHLIA BISHOP OF LLANDAFF WITH A LOVELY CHOCOLATE LEAFCOLOUR.
MY GOATSBEARD IS BECOMMING HUGE BUT COS OF THE RAIN IT DIDN’T FLOWER LONG THIS YEAR.
FIRST BUD ON MY YELLOW CANNA
HONEYSUCKLE, LONICERA HENRYI
ROSA SEAGULL, A RAMBLER WITH A VERY LONG FLOWERING PERIOD AND A SWEET SMELL, ATTRACTS A LOT OF BEES.

The buzz of the bees in my garden is overwhelming at the moment. And I love it.

Have a great weekend all !!

NEW ADDITION

I love succulents, but many of you already know that. I found one I didn’t have yet, it is a lot bigger than most of my other succulents. I keep them in a pot in the garden as they don’t like rain and cold in Winter so they overwinter in the greenhouse, however they survive in Winter outside but then they stuggle to get back to normal in Spring. This is the one with the biggest rosettes at the moment.

HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND !!

NOT IN MY GARDEN

GUNNERA WITH A FLOWERBUD

It was a very enjoyable walk and I hope we can visit this place often, they have a huge rosegarden but it was too early for them.

Take care and stay safe ! Thanks for visiting.
