NOW THIS IS WHAT MAKES ME SMILE

CROCUS VERNUS FLOWER RECORD

IMG_4228 (2)

This crocus is so easy to grow, you just plant them, that is all and they’ll spread themselves all over the garden. Once every 5 years or so you dig them up after flowering and you make new clumps, that is it.

I am thinking of growing the saffron crocus, does any of you have experience with this crocus ? If so I’d love to hear from you.

I hope all is well with you all, have a great SUNday followed by a great week !

Thanks for visiting.

CROCOSMIA LUCIFER

To remind you that we will see flowers again soon.

Greetings to you all.

MR FROSTY

Mr Frosty came and gave all the greenery a fine white layer of white crystals and made a dull garden pretty again.

DRIED FLOWERS OF THE VERBENA BONARIENSIS

We haven’t had much of a Winter so far, but I am not complaining !!

Have a great day and thanks for visiting.

ME(A)ET EATING PLANT

Plants that eat insects and small animals are quite fascinating but not for the  poor animals that drown in their juices…. But in Summer we visited some tropical greenhouses and they had some beautiful carnivorous plants.

SARRACENIA SPECIES

I think these deadly flowers look really pretty but they hide several dead bodies inside, nature can be very cruel.

Have a great week and thanks for visiting my blog.

SORRY

So sorry I haven’t been on WP lately but we are in the middle of renovations here and it is a big mess and a LOT of hard work. A few more weeks and then I hope life will be back to “normal”.
