When I was in my garden last week I noticed this cute little twig of my amelanchier tree, the tree was completely bare except for this little twig, the sun was shining and it caught my eye as it looked so pretty.

I AM THE LAST ONE
Hello, I am the last one in bloom of a bunch of sunflowers who got a chance to grow in October cos the birds in our garden dropped a few seeds and the weather cooperated also with warmth and rain .(see my post : “a late present” I posted earlier this month.

A LATE PRESENT
Now that the weather has changed from hot and dry to soft and wet, plants are starting to regrow. As we feed the birds with all sorts of seeds, including sunflower seeds, new sunflowers have started to grow, so I have sunflowers in bloom in the middle of October where as they normally are in bloom in June-July. And I absolutely love it !! So I have been busy with my camera. I have about 10 sunflowers in bloom at the moment, not only the one I show here.
