ON A SUNNY SUNDAY
The nice sunny Spring weather is continuing with now and then a good  soft shower, so perfect for growing plants. I started to give my plants coffee, yes coffee, it seems coffee is just as good as fertilizer and plants love it, also your indoor plants so I keep all my coffee grounds, mix them with a lot of water and pour it on the ground under my shrubs and plants. I have only just begun so I can’t tell you yet how my plants react to it but I’ll keep you up to date.
I took some pictures for you from the garden a moment ago.

ARABIS, AN EARLY FLOWERING LOW PLANT THAT BLOOMS FOR MONTHS ON END, PERFECT FOR A SUNNY SPOT IN THE ROCKGARDEN

I WAS SITTING NEXT TO MY SKIMMIA, reading a book and drinking coffee, Â AND IT WAS BUZZING WITH BEE’S

I have been waiting for many months to see this one in bloom ! The buds were there for almost 6 months !! But with the nice Spring weather we have been having lately the flowers finally came out of hiding and they smell nice, the bee’s love it, the whole shrub is buzzing. What an awsome plant this one ; Skimmia Japonica  Kew Green.

THIS WAS A FEW DAYS AGO, MY AMELANCHIER

Have a great weekend all and thanks for visiting !
THE GARDEN CHANGES EVERY DAY.
It very much feels and looks like Spring at the moment and the garden is comming to life rapidly but the forecast is that we’ll get another Winter period in a few days time so I better enjoy it while I can. I finally started working in the garden and it feels good, I haven’t been able to do much for the last 2 years what with my broken wrist who turned out to be wrongly handled followed by my husbands illness and then my wrist operation…. but now I am ready to start again. And believe me there is a LOT to do !!
I took some pictures for you yesterday.

WHAT’S IN BLOOM IN MY GARDEN TODAY
Not much but it is a start. We had a long cold and wet Winter and it is not over yet but plants are starting to grow, buds are getting bigger, unfortunately weather forecasters say we are not going to get nice Springweather for at least a forthnight. I hope they are sooo wrong about that !!!
I have only 2 Â bloomers at the moment.
