SILENT SUNDAY

about my garden, art and travelling, nature ,photography and a few words of wisdom

Looks like everyone picked one word for this new year so I picked one too :PEACE, that’s the word that suddenly came to me and because that is what we all need, without peace we can’t do anything but survive. So let us all try and make this world a better place and make peace happen !!!

Big and beautiful, that’s how I describe the AMARYLLIS. In a time where very few plants are in bloom you can always count on the amaryllis. You can buy them as bulbs and grow them inside your house but they are also for sale in every plantshop in Winter, in a pot in bloom or as cut flowers. The red ones are very popular for Christmas but they come in many colours. I was given a bunch as a gift and I was very pleased with it. Just looking at them made me happy.

THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR VISITS, YOUR LIKES AND YOUR COMMENTS.

I just went out into the garden as the sun is out and I noticed one of my fuchsia’s is still in bloom.
Have a great week !
Hello, I am the last one in bloom of a bunch of sunflowers who got a chance to grow in October cos the birds in our garden dropped a few seeds and the weather cooperated also with warmth and rain .(see my post : “a late present” I posted earlier this month.

Have a great day !
