PRETTIER IN WHITE

Today we had our first snow of this Winter so everything is covered in a pretty white layer and  my garden looks a lot better now than before the snow came.

There is not much going on in my garden at the moment alas.

I hope you are all happy and well.

MR FROSTY

Mr Frosty came and gave all the greenery a fine white layer of white crystals and made a dull garden pretty again.

We haven’t had much of a Winter so far, but I am not complaining !!

Have a great day and thanks for visiting.

ME(A)ET EATING PLANT

Plants that eat insects and small animals are quite fascinating but not for the  poor animals that drown in their juices…. But in Summer we visited some tropical greenhouses and they had some beautiful carnivorous plants.

I think these deadly flowers look really pretty but they hide several dead bodies inside, nature can be very cruel.

Have a great week and thanks for visiting my blog.

BWHAAA, IT IS THAT TIME AGAIN….

Some of you already know I am not a fan of Autumn and Winter as they just last too long for me. Short grey days, cold, misty, slippery roads…..

This morning I took a picture of an oak tree in my garden, mind you, it was a sunny day so I thought I’d take a few pics.

This is a 40 year old European oak, its leafs are smaller and less colourful in Autumn than those of the American oak. I haven’t got a clue how tall it is but it it huge.

Have a great weekend all !
