SILENT SUNDAY
JULY FLOWERS
We have a very odd Summer this year, cool and wet so I haven’t as many flowers as usually. Last year it was so hot I spent hours in front of the fan. This year we got airco and voila, we haven’t used it even once 😀 But hey, I am not complaining, I like this cooler weather.
I just love the blue flowers of this herb. The plant is not really prettty but the flowers are. And it attracts a lot of bee’s.

APPLES
Lately we have been having very wet, windy and cool weather with lots of thunder so my garden doesn’t look it’s best but it is green and lush and growing, only the flowers look a bit tatty at the moment. So here’s an update on my appletree’s I showed you a while ago.

both my mini apple tree’s had loads of buds
this is the youngest and the smallest of the 2, it had lots of flowers but no apples, there were tiny apples but they all fell off
this is the biggest of the 2 and it has quite a bit of apples at the moment, last year it had none
Here you can see one of them and they are groing nicely as you can see
