I have just found your blog. You’re on the other side of the world from me and I am having hot weather while you have snow!

That is odd, isn’t it ! Just like when we sleep you are awake ! 😀 Do you ever get snow over there ?

Snow falls in the mountains sometimes, but not where I live. It does get quite cold in the winter though, and we have big frosts.

Frost in Sydney ???

I don’t live in Sydney. But yes, sometimes in the higher parts of Sydney and away from the coast, there can be frost. The city covers a huge area of land, so there can be a variation of temperatures between the coast and the parts further inland.

There is 3″ of snow outside today, but I’m looking forward to working in my garden this spring. It’s not a real garden per se, but patches around my wild yard/woods/cornfields. I am thinking of planting giant sunflowers this year. They make me happy. Have you ever grown them?

Yikes !! snow !!! When does the weather change for the better where you live ? I grow sunflowers yes but not the ones on a high stalk, I like the big ones on a short stalk and with a green heart instead of the brown heart. But there are sooooo many different sunflowers ! I hope to see pictures of what is flowering in your garden !!
